First Plenary Session Emphasizes The Need for Creativity and Innovation

First plenary session under the chairmanship of Dr. Ekoja, University Librarian, University of Abuja
On June 10, the first plenary session had four papers presented and discussed. Each emphasizing the need for innovation and creativity in the libraries of the 21st century. The papers were thoroughly discussed by the participants. Some of the papers presented include:
  • Overcoming ICT skills Acquisition and Adoption Challenges: The Role of LIS Educators in the Training of Librarians.
  • Training and Education of Innovative and Creative Librarians in Nigerian Universities.
  • Training and Education of Innovative Librarians in Nigeria: Making Librarianship More Transparent.
  • Providing Technology-Driven Library and Information Services: The Case of Festus Aghagbo Nwakp Library, Nnamdi Azikwe University.
